The Paradox

Several time ago I had a small talk with one person via internet. It was the so called “chat”.We spoke about love and relationships and he shared that he had not girlfriend. I asked him why. And he said that all girls were whores and look only in the pockets of men and were ready to do everything about money. He said he had no money, so he had not girlfriend. He shared also that he wanted the girl to love him because of himself and not because of his money.

After that conversation a thing appeared to me – “He wanted to be loved because of himself.” Maybe you will hear that sentence often, but behind it lays great complex question. A lot of guys say that they want to be loved because of themselves but do they realize that “themselves” often is very ugly. In fact they offer one very unpleasant and nasty person, who even if they themselves meet they won `t like. So here is the complexity of the problem. What they offer is not what a girl will like, but they not realizing that and their inner true self want to be loved which again shows their selfishness. They don’t have idea of their real self. They do not realize their real character, their attitude, their behavior. They don’t look objectively on themselves but they are wanting, wanting, wanting… They don’t have any virtue, but want to be loved and loved because of themselves. A great paradox. If you want to be loved you have to have a set of nice characteristics and to make efforts for the other side in the relationship. They don’t do this but they are blaming and complaining all the time. Always someone else is guilty. In that case the “whores”. The paradox and the misunderstanding are obvious.
