What Happened When Evil Envied Good
Once upon a time in the deep forest of one of the shiny islands called Birdland there were two birds. Of course there were a lot of birds on that island but those two were very important. One of them was called Nicy. He was ordinary bird, without any extraordinary decoration, but he had big and good heart. When somebody was sad he was always nearby to calm him down. He was joking and cheering up everyone from the island and birds and animals and humans. He never forgot to gratitude. She never forgot the birthdays of his friends and always gave them presents although he had not so much. He was doing good to everyone and that gave up to him pleasure and he was fulfilled and that was the sense of his life. He was always happy scattering happiness around him. Everybody in Birdland loved him. When someone met him it was followed by a smile and his mood got better. Everybody liked him, respect him and was happy to be around him.
The other bird was called Evy. He also had ordinary decoration like most of the birds on the island. But he was the opposite of Nicy. Ne was always evil, rude, frowning, sinister and cruel. Nobody liked him and he liked nobody. He was happy that he is evil that was the sense of his life. Everyone avoided him. But when someone occasionally met him he was abused, ill-treated, harmed and he became immediately sad and unhappy. That bird was born bad and he couldn’t go against his character. He was sowing hatred, pain and sadness around him. Nobody loved him – neither birds, neither other animals, neither humans.
One day as Evy was flying around he heard music and laughter. He came nearer and hid himself among the leaves. It was Nicy and his friends. They were playing on the glade with the threes and flowers. The spring was laughing, some birds were singing, the animals, the flowers and the threes were smiling. Humans were playing and Nicy was in the middle giving joy and pleasure. Evy look at that picture and got more and more embittered. He get home angry. His soul was full with malice and violence. He was blind from envy.
From that day Evy began to congratulate everyone. He began to smile to everybody and to joke with birds, flowers, threes, animals and humans. He tried to give happiness, to be polite. He gave presents to make friends with the other inhabitants of the island. He made himself to smile and to be cheerful. He wanted to be like Nicy. He wanted everybody to love and like him.
In the evenings when he was alone at home he was the old Evy – rude, bad, heartless and cruel. In the day he putted the mask of kindness and goodness, but at home he was more and more evil. He was so blinded of angriness and malice that he was thinking on the murder of Nicy. He hated him so much, although he was his first friend in the day when the mask was on. He decided to kill him and was planning carefully his deed. He planned to invite Nicy to his home in order to celebrate their friendship and to put sleeping-pill in his wine and then to chop him in pieces and to bury him in front of his house in order to delight to his deed every day. He could poison Nicy but this was not enough for the bad heart of the evil bird.
So the day came. Nicy was invited to dinner at Evy`s home. Nicy came and Evy putted sleeping-pill in the Nicy`s wine and made the ugly deed, he planned from days. He buried Nicy in front of his home and became happy.
